Definitions Match || Social Studies

Today in Social Studies we were told to match up definitions in environmental sustainability keywords and color code them according to if they were good, bad, or neutral.

This was my one after matching and coloring.

Red: Bad
Orange: Neutral
Green: Good

Sustainability is about providing for our needs without completely wrecking the environment. Specifically, environmental sustainability is about not using up our resources completely to the point where everything ends up dying. We have to let our resources renew before taking more and more, otherwise, they would go endangered and if we kept using them they would eventually go completely extinct. Therefore, we wouldn't be able to use those resources again.

Environmental sustainability is important because the ecosystem is something just about everything relies on for their needs. We need clean air, food, water, and many more things that are in our environments to live. If we took it all, simply speaking, we would end up going extinct ourselves. We should recycle our plastics instead of moving them all to the sea where many animals and sea life could die.
