They didn't have sets, the stage was the same every play (excluding props, costumes, and special effects)
It was usually going on during the afternoon.

Possibly.

He's okay. Though, he's kind of broke.

He needs to borrow from Antonio money to impress Portia.

No because Shylock knows about Bassanio being broke and he thinks he may not pay him back.
2. Which does Shylock think is safe, his business or Antonio’s? Why?
He thinks his own business is safe since Shylock doesn't normally pay interest and he considers himself more fair for the most part.
3. Why doesn’t Shylock want to dine with Bassanio and Antonio?
Because he doesn't want to eat the pork due to a Jewish belief.
4. What strict principal of his is Antonio breaking to help Bassanio?
He won't charge interest, and offers Shylock to charge him for interest. Instead, Shylock just wants to take a pound of flesh.
5. Shylock tells a bible story to prove that the taking of profit is blessed, as long as thieving is not involved. Does he convince Antonio? Give evidence.
No because Antonio believes that the story could have been modified to Shylock's benefit.
